Amsterdam

Wow....it's weird really, this was my 6th national/international forum, but I am still impressed over all the energy that is present, and the ideas you get. Meeting both old and new friends is always a privilege, Sue, Michael, Hub, Narath, Shannon and everyone else made the forum a great experience. I understand better than earlier now when people are saying that they use the Forum as a sabbatical, a place to get inspired and boost energy levels.

I got a lot of take home messages this time around. As for expanding the IHI Open School in Norway, changing the approach to focus more on interprofessional learning seems very logical in all aspects. I met Cecilie, a communication student from Denmark, and they have started to work on engaging students from different disciplines with a common interest in Patient Safety to come together and make change happen. I can't wait to get started on this when I return to Norway, and it will kick off with a theme event on the third of May =)

Nasjonaldrængerne made the conference more fun than I thought, and meeting up with Fie and Line from Denmark was awesome. I also had a great meeting with Nanna Fredheim, and I think we'll make a kick ass plan for involving students in the PS_campaign.
